Rod Walls is a native of Chattanooga, TN where he was converted to Jesus Christ and called to the ministry. He has pastored churches in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia and began serving as the Interim Pastor of Cleveland Road Baptist Church in 2016. Rod holds a B.A. in Psychology from Carson-Newman University, a M.Div. in Biblical Studies from Campbell University Divinity School, and a D.Min. in Preaching from Carolina Graduate School of Divinity. Rod enjoys reading, music, college football, and most of all hanging out with his wife, Pam, and their two children, Elijah and Abi. Some of his favorite books include Desiring God and The Pleasures of God by John Piper, Nine Marks of a Healthy Church by Mark Dever, and Trusting God Even When Life Hurts by Jerry Bridges.
